A Springfield man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 8 p.m. Wednesday on Farm Road 186 and Farm Road 205.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1988 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Cody J. Deckard, 24, Springfield, traveled off the left side of the roadway, then returned to the roadway and overturned.
Deckard was treated for minor injuries and a passenger, Angelica J. Anderson, 25, Ozark, for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
In addition to DWI, Deckard was arrested for assault in the second degree, careless and imprudent driving, no valid driver's license, no insurance, failure to display plates, no title issued on motor vehicle, and no seat belt.
