The Springfield Police Department will host a promotion ceremony at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Springfield Regional Police and Fire Training Center, 2620 W. Battlefield.
- Captain Greg Higdon will be promoted to major.
- Lieutenant Chad Eutsler will be promoted to captain.
- Lieutenant Tad Peters will be promoted to captain.
- Sergeant Chad McIntyre will be promoted to lieutenant.
- Sergeant Tony Vienhage will be promoted to lieutenant.
- Sergeant Chris Wells will be promoted to lieutenant.
- Officer Jason Trusler will be promoted to corporal.
All promotions will take effect on July 23.
