According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Dodge Charger driven by Angel R. Dillard, 18, Monett, cross the center line and struck a 2016 Freightliner driven by Christopher L. Wolven, 53, Reeds Spring.
Lawrence County Coroner Scott Lakin pronounced Dillard dead at the scene at 12:55 p.m.
Wolven was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
The fatality was the 110th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
