A Springfield man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 2:20 a.m. today on Route J, two miles east of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Mazda Protege driven by Danny D. Bauder, 29, Springfield, ran off the roadway and struck a traffic sign.
Bauder, who was treated at Cox South Hospital for moderate injuries, was also charged with driving while revoked.
